THE REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate has several years' of technical writing experience producing technical documents for hardware and software and a strong technical aptitude - preferably with networks. In addition, the ideal candidate has excellent experience with FrameMaker, the Adobe Suite of products, and on-line help systems. Formal training in technical communications is a definite asset as is experience with technical writing for networking software.

Position Summary:
The Data and Implementation Specialist is responsible for providing integration support on client software/product including pre-implementation assessment, data transfer and conversion, implementation and integration of client product. This role will support a technology company in providing SaaS (hosted) solutions for Association Management. The Specialist serves as the main point of contact to new clients for data discussions and for system set up issues. The Specialist will also serve as a coordinator of data conversion tasks. The Specialist works closely with the client to ensure a smooth transition and implementation from start-up to integration. The Specialist will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and will be able to work with non technical staff. Specific responsibilities as described below range from data analysis/import to application set up and client discussions regarding business processes in the use of the Association Management software.
Responsibilities:
Represents Client in a professional manner to customers at all times. Maybe requires to support and instruct less technical customers/staff.
Will provide implementation leadership to ensure a smooth transition
Proactively and consistently contact clients to receive data files
Review and analyze client data files for inconsistencies in the data and trouble shoot potential impacts; host calls to discuss data edits, assist clients in mapping data
Import client data OR manage and complete the conversion/import of the data
Run ad hoc data reports, queries to allow clients to verify data import process
Proactively discuss client business processes, assist in set up of application to insure data mapping works in conjunction with the business operations of the client
Coordinate scheduling of data import with client and third party vendors
Maintain documentation for the data import worksheet, process document and client custom reports
Provide statistics on data imports, data conversion projects and custom; statistics include number of data imports open, close rate, etc.
Prepare customer requests for information, change order proposals (RFA), and assessments.
Keep support materials for clients up to date including the data import webinar and worksheet
Analyze post-live data questions or issues to determine root cause and develop cleanup strategy, if needed; Execute complete post live data projects, data cleanup
Assist with testing, communication and delivery of client specific custom reports; including billing the RFA through accounting
Assist Pro clients with query development in query tool
Assist clients in coordination of XML methodology testing
Maintain knowledge on application functionality
Requirements:
Proficiency in hardware/software and or/operating systems environments
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
Excellent Problem Solving Skills
Fundamental understanding of database usage and application
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and handle shifting priorities and carry tasks to completion
Highly motivated self-starter employing a high attention to detail
Must possess ability to hold client discussions in professional manner
Excellent Typing Skills
Education:

Responsibilities
Layout articles in Canadian Family Physician (CFP) as required, and act as a back-up to the Graphics Manager on CFP layout and design
Create charts, tables, graphics and other materials for use in various projects and publications
Design and layout of other College materials, including brochures, reports, posters and promotional materials
Assist in the production of graphics materials for the website, and in the production of electronic versions of College materials and publications
Provide graphics support to the department
Other assignments as requested by the department Director or Graphics Manager
Requirements
A college-level certificate in graphic design or equivalent
A minimum of two years' experience in design and layout of publications and other materials
A thorough working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (CS4), including InDesign and Illustrator (equivalent knowledge and experience with Quark X-press may be considered)
Good interpersonal and communications skills
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The Senior Test Engineer (COTS Applications) will, under the supervision of a Project Leader, undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
Position Description :
- Design and create test plans and cases for COTS (Commercial, off-the-shelf) software applications at a system level;
- Design and create scripts to automate the testing process;
- Install, configure and administer operating systems, database servers and web servers in the test server environment;
- Report software defects in a clear and concise manner
- Apply a good understanding of current technical environments and departmental standards relating to the Quality Assurance process;

Position Education, Experience and Technical Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant discipline or a two-year college diploma in a computer program supplemented by industry recognized professional courses; or demonstrated equivalent experience and training in lieu of diploma;
- Experience with development lifecycle of large software projects, especially usability studies, beta testing, and quality assurance;
- Experience with testing COTS (Commercial, off-the-shelf) applications;
- Experience with traditional QA methods such as white/black box, performance, regression and acceptance testing;
- Five or more years of experience in a quality assurance role, or equivalent related experience within a software development team;
- Knowledge of various operating systems including Win XP/2003;
- Ability to work efficiently and estimate tasks within the confines of a project schedule;
- The successful candidate possesses superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent analytical skills.
Position Desirable Requirements:
- Self motivation and attention to detail;
- Ability to work within definite parameters and time frames;
